  • What is Grimbarians?

    Grimbarians is a Community Interest Company, formed from a photographic project created by photographer Dan Clarke and writer Lindsay Cowie. It features inspirational locals of the Greater Grimsby area and the great things being done in the community. It is the source of good Grimsby news and aims to help improve the impression of the town.

  • How do I nominate someone to be featured?

    You can nominate a number of ways, via email or direct message on our social media, but the easiest way is to fill out the form here. Simply tell us their name and why you think they deserve to be included. Leave us your name so we can get back to you and any contact information.

  • Who can be nominated?

    You can nominate anyone! Grimbarians is not exclusive. We feature successful people, inspirational people in the world of business, charity and volunteering, etc. If someone is doing something positive, we want to hear about it!

  • Do you have to be born in Grimsby to be a Grimbarian?

    No. Grimbarians can be both people that have been born and grown in the area, or people that have come to the area and made Grimsby their own.

  • How can I support Grimbarians?

    You can support Grimbarians by simply liking, sharing and interacting with our posts, this really helps on social media to spread the positive word that we’re trying to get out there and combat the negative.
